Budoshin Ryu Ninpo Bugei
Budoshin-ryu Ninpo has its begining in various disciplines of martial arts, including Karate, Jujitsu, Kenpo, Aikido, Iaijutsu, Kenjutsu, Shurikenjutsu, Kendo, Judo, Aikijujutsu and others. Our system is divers, due to the fact that our founder Shinobi, Sensei studied various martial arts disciplines as well as classical Ninjutsu.
Shinobi, Sensei began his martial arts career at the age of four, under the tutlage of his grand-father O'Sensei. O'Sensei was somewhat of a "jack of all trades - master of none." However, O'Sensei took with him the keys to the dynamics of martial arts and passed them down to his sons, grandsons and great-grandsons. It was not until 2004 that Shinobi, Sensei officially named his family ryu-ha (system), and began calling the system "Budoshin Ryu Ninpo."
The name, Budoshin Ryu Ninpo simply means "True Warrior Heart School of Ninpo." Today, through the efforts of Black Hand Ninja Society, which is an open art association of martial artists from around the world, Budoshin Ryu Ninpo is taught, practiced and studied world-wide.
Through dedicated study and training in Budoshin Ryu Ninpo, one can open the doors of knowledge, technique and skill, while truly making the martial arts his/her own. Budoshin Ryu Ninpo recognizes the stages of martial arts as follows:
Budo - which is the practice of the way or "tou" of the art
Bujutsu - which is the practitioner becoming the art and making it his/her own
Bushin - which is the state of mind of the practitioner, who has his/her art in their heart and mind
Zen - which is the total becomming - meaning that the person is now transcended to a state of being
The total art of Budoshin Ryu Ninpo requires the student to complete several phases of training, including the earning of Black Belt and/or Menkyo status in various arts, which include:
Aiki-jutsu
Iaido
Karate
Shuriken-jutsu
Ken-jutsu
